Interesting, While I was in University 10 years ago my scriptwriting teacher said exactly the same thing. And theaters are still going strong. GOing to the movies is not only about picture quality and sound. Its about the Huge canvas, the social experience, the joint joy of experience movie magic. This will not disappear. Nothing beats the joy of an audience experience together the power of movie magic. At least for me. :)
Ha ha........film, Red killed film. I'll bet no one who watched thought for a second it was digital
Are we seeing 48 fps on itunes? Will the theaters be projecting the trailer at 48?
beautiful. I still love to see the trailer on the big screen. Anyone knows which movie this trailer could possibly play at? I'm willing to just buy a movie ticket just to see the trailer on the big screen.
I saw it today in a theatre in ____ (can't disclose). Better yet, I saw it back to back in 3D with other 3D trailers.
It looked damn good. The other trailers looked soft and washed out in comparison except for one other blockbuster feature's. Colors, FX, costuming, everything seems to be coming together marvelously.
But most surprising of all - the 3D looked STUPENDOUS. MUST SEE 3D. I bet you the feature movie will be the best 3D you've seen in a long time, maybe the best ever. To see it in 2D will be a big waste. See the trailer in 3D if you can.
For those wanting to see the trailer in 4K... don't put your hopes up. Even if the theatre is 4K capable... More likely you'll see the feature in true source 4K at the end of next year. Even if Jim Jannard created these cameras (with his great team), they don't have much say in how these movies get distributed.
Glad the EPICs had so much to do with the look and the 3D. I'm thrilled that Scarlet will have much of the same DNA.
Kudos and Cheers
Wow.
Great!!!
Looks great, even with the gamma shift!
