for premiere pro playback is all CPU power. the gpu only kicks in during rendering and outputting. in project settings -> general you have to select mercury...

for machete can i place the GTX 470 in pci 5,6, and 7 consecutively? i think something is wrong with my pci slot 3 or my card is messing up.

i finally got resolve running. but then i noticed my monitors only worked on the GPU gtx and not the gui.

and it only reads 1 gpu. would i have defective gtx 470s?

just a fyi. this motherboard doesn't like SSD. i tried with ocz 120,160gb vertex ii and corsair 120gb.

luigi walked me through installing on a velociraptor 300gb and then i tried to clone it on...
