I don't think they mentioned a time limit but did say it would go on for a while. Like many others, we chose to get out of line for a while since we weren't ready yet to upgrade our Scarlet.

Interested if it was a substantial discount. Those are great lights, but still pretty expensive! But keep me informed, please! Thanks!

We decided to upgrade our Scarlet to an Epic MX. RED has provided a great deal for this especially considering our Scarlet was one of those BT's that were cheap to begin with.

We'll wait to see...

It's still saying my S/N is not eligible to go from Scarlet to Epic. Should be as it was part of the big BT group.

One other question: Will these new Epics as part of the trade-in, already have...

Sorry to disagree, also, but I enjoyed it when I took my 8 & 11 year old. They loved it. I thought he did a good job at doing a "throwback" style of movie. Even the acting was a little over the top...

I'd be more than happy to ditch a projector dream if RED was going to put out a 4k display. I hate to rain on the projector parade, but man they don't impress me unless in the perfect environment,...

Just an FYI-We couldn't get the Sound Devices Pix 220 to go into record mode (or see timecode) from our Epic or Scarlet. Once we rolled back to the release build, it works fine.

We have just started. We may adjust...it's our first one. But honestly, people at that level are looking to donate, anyways, imo.
