I'm selling my Red Pro 18-85mm zoom with the Optitek mount and 19mm support mount. Owned since new i'm finding i am just not using it mush anymore even though it's a great lens. A few very very minor...
I'm selling my Miller DS60 HD 150mm tripod with HD CF two stage legs. Included is a Nalpak Tuffcase on wheels. Everything works perfectly and head is smooth with no slop at all. As per pictures...
Hi Albert,
I'm about to sell my 150mm head and legs. It's a Miller DS60 with two stage HD carbon fibre legs, and comes it and Nalpak hard travel case. I'm not sure if i would be interested in a...
Hey...i own both a Scarlet and Epic as well...i would like prices to be high. I think we're on a cusp before Dragon hits and the demand for an MX chip is less so in turn value will fall, it's pretty...
Ouch...but that's part of buying cameras these days. My F3 would be lucky to sell for $7K now...half of what it was new two years ago and unfortunately it isn't really any different with a RED. For...
that's definitely a bit high at 16/17...why would one pay that for an MX chipped used Epic? If there was no dragon path been announced and it was a new chip on a new model camera then maybe. But it's...
Consider the upgrade path...a brand new Epic dragon will be $24k with the MX well below that...new. A $19k upgrade on a used Scarlet will also give you a brand new Epic dragon which sells for $24k.
I would really like to see what people would value an Epic and a Scarlet at now the Dragon path has been announced. I'm talking about a Brain with SSD side module and PL mount, which is pretty much a...
Don't worry about it guys...maybe the yanks are just afraid of being shown up;) lol
Great comp!
These are great tests and a great resource for people not knowing really which way they want to go as a starting point. The piece I liked most is that these are projection examples and tests, and...
I was told by Zeiss themselves when I was buying mine directly from them there is a difference in the coating, alongside each glass element being the pick of the crop. But it's all pie in the sky as...
Agreed. I have a set and love them. Putting lenses on charts is one thing as is blowing up images to find where they fall apart (CA)...but in the end the images from the CP2's in actual use is...
Still looking...
Yeah Phil...I have read all that from RED already, nothing new unfortunately. By the way, it was already confirmed from Jim it will be more than $6k upgrade. That's completely fine with me, well...
With all the latest offerings from other makers such as Sony and the new RAW module in the Alexa, is a simple sensor upgrade enough to keep Epic going for another couple of years? I think not. With...
whatever it is it better be bloody good. A DR improvement at somewhere more than $6k (probably closer to $10K) is going to be hard to swallow unless there are some big improvements within epic and...
unless you made something to sort that problem...
Exactly the same problem with mine Paul, evf shows Macbeth, LCD nothin or garbled screen. Sending a log report to red tomorrow. Mine is consistent on any power option including all Red dc and ac.
Bug: shooting high frame rates the LCD and outputs get a portion of the screen not resizing for the crop correctly and flickers between the two views.
