I found another solution. Pity as I would have wanted to get this C stand adapter.

Discontinued on BH hardly means its not in production. Bh discontinues things all the time that are still in production. The slr magic page on Facebook is very active and Andrew chimes in sometimes....

I dont have any issue with the flares...but thats all a matter of opinion. When they are wide open they have a more vintage veiling flare. Stopped down a bit and it gets more modern.

The owner says its the same glass so hard to argue with that. However It looks a bit different to me. But I dont have the micro line to personally test.

Yeh Joshua could very well have been flagging the lens with something.... Who knows. Lighter is def good especially for gimbal work. I personally like the 300 degrees when im pulling my own focus...
