I'm still thinking ... Scarlet-X to EPIC-X (and maybe a future upgrade to dragon) or Scarlet-X to Scarlet-D... this is my dilemma.
60fps @5K with better light performance or 5K with the "Old MX"...

Hi,
I have a problem with the latest beta 4.0.9. (on my Scarlet-X 1300)
If from 4K @ 25 fps (or whatever frame rate / resolution) I change to 5K, the camera continues to show 25 fps (on top menu),...

Unfortunately, only the G.U.I. shows high frame rates ... :-)
Will report the bug to RED tonight.

I appreciate your work, especially the "Power safe mode".
But, many owners of Scarlet-X asking for something more than this.
For example, 2K @ high frame-rate and 4.5k @ 24 fps or better...

in fact, no news for Scarlet.
Frame averaging is almost useless. Only 3k (24fps @ 2 frame) 2k (30fps @ 2 frame) can be used for motion projetcs. (for stills is a good option).
The same for speed...

including VAT?

:-) We know ... a pug-and-play Red Rocket (with external case... thunderbolt or other connections) for 1.5 - 2 k should change our world.

I think the f55 is a great product (from data-sheet), but the EPIC / SCARLET ecosystem would be even better with the little "Toia module" (+ ProRes or DNxHD 2k or 4k)... if the price is around 2 -...
