I can confirm what Mitch posted here.
The lenses are 100% german made.
Optical quality is excellent, mechanics are robust and fine and survived already quite challenging shooting situations here...

The inexpensive series: No.

Besides Bjoern, Juergen and Konstantin no one has shot anything on none of the lenses.
No NDAs have been send out yet - to no one.

The lenses are German-built, designed, and are (as far i can judge the sets i know) delivered so far in Germany.

I suppose that they should have thousands of lenses of those sets in the market...

You need Adobe CS4 (or other better tools) to not be stuck with an 75% reduced resolution.
