well you guys are definitely the only company that threatens customers who do not holler 'hooray'
all the time to be banned from something that is perceived as a public forum.
I have to give you...

My 5 cents:
I have a viewfactor follow focus system. Lovin' it. Works like a machine.
Gets big eyes whenever I get it out on set.
Support has always been really good.
Don't bash me. That is...
it feels flimsy. they apparently changed the material to make it lighter - but not
it seems to crack pretty easily.
the worst thing though are the gaps between the filter stages. really quite...

tony if you want to see a PC user who works on Red go get yourself a mirror :-)
you are sooo right. what one missing word can do :-)
I used to be a big chrosziel fan. but the 450 is a lemon. leaks light like crazy. don't know what they were thinking on that one.
right now by far the best bang for the buck is the O'box. And that...
so if you are smart and German like me you use the chrosziel swing away bracket that actually works :-)

I would advice everybody though to spray the lanterns with some flame retardant.
especially if you are planning to use 500W or 1k bulbs...
I use a 20 dollar self made home depot bracket :-) - call me funny but I think
450 bucks for an angled piece of metal is slightly excessive.
I do that all the time for shooting models on white...
If you look at all the new glass / prime sets that came out recently they are all in the size / weight category of
the Red primes.
And what I gathered from test is that the Red Primes still...
Don't get me wrong: I love to McGiver stuff !!!
My point is that often the workarounds turn out to be much more complicated than just buying the thing
that was actually made for the job...
If...
Ahem. Real names please.
Sorry, I had to :-)
unfortunately does not fit with a 19mm swing away system. the Zacuto arm is just ever so slightly
to big to clear the rods. which is a true bummer.
and using it on 15mm it can only live on the...
"I was going to make a DeWalt adapter for the Red One but I think it would've taken 4 battery holders to get the same run time as a single Red battery. "
good idea - but somehow not convinced.
nada ?
If you have long files, and they are your only files and master files, I would strongly recommending AGAINST
trimming the files directly from the SSDs.
Download, backup - then trim.
Otherwise...
We call that an MB20 II
If access to power is an issue I would get a laptop with an esata card and esata/firewire 800 drives.
So if worse comes to worse you can power the drives and the Red Station directly from the...
and the advantage would be ?
rub it in, just run it in :-)
