I am also interested to know if your Epic-to-Bottomplate Adapter allows the Epic to be at the right height for use with a mattebox mounted on the 19mm rods.

I've only use ZF lenses, and I think ZE lenses are the same but for canon mount.

The Zeiss ZE lenses are manual. They can be use with canon mount(I guess), but they don't have motor and btw the electronical iris and focus don't work with them.
