Hi Michael, I use the Sonnet and RR with a MacBook Pro. I also have to unplug the Rocket when I am going to concentrate on audio. :/ Maybe it has something to do with the Sonnet?

I think the 509 is probably the most affordable head that will do a decent job. It also has the handy illuminated bevel!

Same as Sid, everything else works normally, it doesn't lock up the camera, autofocus just doesn't seem to engage.
