My setup will be:

SSD for windows and programs
3TB, 7200RPM drive for media...

Would I have most to gain on using a SSD for cache files?
Maybe in combination with a fast HDD where the source material is?
Any recomendations on specific disk for the non-SSD disk?

I´ll be reconfiguring my HDD setup and so I´m looking for advice.

SSD system drive with premiere, AE, etc (Using windows 7 btw)

You should use exfat formated disks because that will read and write on both pc/mac. XMLs will get you far, but not everything is working perfectly there.
But no matter what you do, it will not be...

Here's the results of a speedtest I just did.
As you can see the HDD is 90% full.

The speed on transfering from internal SSD to redmag using usb3 is just about exactly 80MB/s. Tested today.

One port is usb2, but I'm using the 3.0 port for this.
