Same problem with my 11-16mm. Does anyone know a place that can fix the issue on the lens itself?

Just a guess, but the 80-200mm looks like it's based on the Nikon since the focus scale turns opposite from cine lenses.

Yep.
Nice! I was going to upgrade the fan on my Epic, but I have limited funds this summer so maybe I'll just buy this theater instead :)
Are you suggesting that most big studio films are made for older people? I feel like most of the movies dominating the market are made for 12-year-old boys.
Jacek, if you look at my signature you will see I only own a Canon lens package that I would love to use as a source of rental income. But I just don't think they are adequate for the rigors of a...
Just my 2 cents, but although I agree with you that lenses are a long-term investment that hold their value well, that's an idea that holds true for high end glass that will continue to produce...
That's not necessary at all. And honestly, it will only serve to give your camera a bad reputation around town. It's sounds petty, but seriously, word spreads quickly and your camera will perpetuate...
Hey, guys. Finally saw the movie last night so I'm just checking in as promised to comment on the Red-MX footage. Like Dino said, there is very little. In the case of my camera, it probably amounted...
Does the Hyperdeck Shuttle record the Epic file naming structure? It looks like it doesn't but looking for confirmation.
Sorry to interrupt the bitch-fest, but has anyone had any luck ordering the non-early adopter Epic-X Dragon upgrade this morning? I've been refreshing the store web page for over an hour.
Everyone who collaborates with Terry Malick gets more out of it than they put in. I promise you that.
I haven't seen it yet! It's released here in Austin this weekend so I'll check in after that to report how much of our Red footage actually made it in. Thanks for the review, Tom!
I believe that's the +1 Module not the module adapter. Same idea, though.
I haven't heard anything concrete, but in all honesty I never use HdRx even now with the MX sensor. It's just too cumbersome and rarely needed. I imagine the Dragon will basically eliminate the need...
Talked to Bomb Squad Rep. They said today they are only upgrading Epic M and "early adopters" who ordered before August (goes up to red one #2200 or something). I am Red One #2880 and Epic-X #560, so...
I'm also being told I'm not eligible yet. What's going on?

Hey Evin. Do all these lenses cover Epic at 5k full frame?
Do a black shade calibration if you haven't already.
I had this issue sporadically with my Epic and it slowly got progressively worse until it finally gave out on a shoot and started corrupting every clip I shot. I sent it into Red and there was a...
A flying car. Not relevant but interesting I guess.
I haven't worked with the OLED, but we just purchased 4 standard AC7's and there is no way to calibrate using color bars because the blacks are so crushed. SmallHD assures me that there will soon be...
I have four of them and they work great. Run time is a function of the power consumption of your camera setup and the wH capacity of the battery. My basic Epic configuration seems to burn about a...
