Any alternative solutions besides using the AC adapter, especially in places where batteries are not readily rentable? How are others getting around this?
These look amazing, and natural. Super sharp for anamorphics too, they're perfect for the big screens. I want to see more telephoto shots. Not a big fan of the older anamorphics.
I'm in the same boat as you Andrew. I was surprised. I guess it's back of the line for us.
Reminds me of when I made my first film many years ago. It got into a small local festival, but when I compared it to other films it felt very inferior both technically and creatively. I was pretty...
Thanks Phil for the frequent write-ups—definitely appreciate it. I noticed your images have a nice natural sharpness, is that just the lenses you're using or is there additional sharpness you add in...
That was very enlightening David—thanks.
Just keep in mind it's not random with B&H, they celebrate all Jewish holidays as well as others. It's nice to see a company that still values certain traditions.
Really? What are you smoking bro?
Just updated to Premiere Pro CS 6.0.5 and my project files (with R3D) kept crashing until I realized it might have replaced the Red Camera plugins with their old ones—in which case try reinstalling...

Cross Colours —super baggy
A Scarlet-X for 5–5.5k? Interesting, let me know if anyone is selling it at that price. The only ones I seem to find right now in the For Sale section are at 7.5-8k+
Thanks Matthew—definitely appreciate it!
That was great, I'm definitely going to use this. One question though, is there a reason why you have to render out a noiseless version for the first track? Or can you just apply the filter on track...
That's cool Are, care to share how you graded that?
Here are some options to explore:
For a good 7-years it was MAC w/FCP, now it's Mac w/Premiere and I'm not looking back. The new retina MBP kicks ass though.
Unless something better comes along, it won't stop until everyone can shoot IMAX on their phones, and wirelessly record, edit and post their videos and watch it on their 25k foldable oled screens.
Wow, that is the most detailed still I've ever seen on Reduser—it also has a natural fidelity I like. I hope the new dragon sensor's OLPF is as good as the method you're using.
Les, care to share...
