I Think 800*600 is only in C4D Lite, but not in After Effects if you import the project using cineware.
Depend of the codec, with Cineform I haven't had problems, but better is do a test.
Cineform AVI, don't? yes it doesn't works, but Cineform quicktime files works fine (with last codec from GoPro Cineform Studio).
Well, try this to see if it works: when not load my clips automatically then manually I drag them with the mouse, from the desktop to the space provided on the reels panel. It usually works.
For scale in SG use a Pan&Scan layer, and put a keyframe in each start of clip with different size. SG haven't a scale to fit option, as far as I am aware.
No, EDL don't knows about scaling info....
You need install the plugin again. This is a beta and each update overwrite him.
With Debugmode Frameserver and Avisynth is not necessary an intermediate avi file, although this approach is fine. ;-)
Desktop= Windows key+D
File explorer= Windows key+E
In FxDay2Nite move the desaturation slider.
8 bits (256 colors)
This is not correct: 8 bits here are 8 bits per color channel= millions, and 10 bits are 10 bits per color= trillions
Cineform is now free with GoPro Cineform Studio.
I do not doubt that x264 is a great encoder, but does not support audio, so I do not find useful.
Yes, that is.
Although that is subjective, only the experience of work with both.
I use the Quadro 4000 and GTX 570. I like more the Quadro card, I think its performance is superior.
Do you render to quicktime again? Has you tried other formats? Has you activate "automatic color calibration"?
Well, I have readed that h.264 is a codec more efficient, more quality at the same bitrate, but I haven't checked it for myself.
For BR I use h.264 only.
Then it wouldn't called SpeedLooks, in any case SolveLooks
In format options of the clip panel.
The only option (at the moment) for SDI monitoring in SpeedGrade is by Nvidia Quadro SDI: Optional: For SDI output, NVIDIA Quadro SDI Output card. And this is in Windows only, because Quadro SDI is...
Intensity is OK for Premiere, but not for SpeedGrade. Read in Adobe web the tech specs.
Very, very good.
