Okay - all will be revealed FINALLY - next Monday night.
4-5 months away.
SolidWorks is HIGHLY addictive.
I looked at everything out there I could find ... nothing makes me personally happy.
So ...OFFHOLLYWOOD is making a iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ case for on set use.
Lanyard, mount to camera, mount...
Mikael & I are racing to see who can "ship" first -
And I wanna add GIG-E + DHCP router - so ... push a button and send a full 6K RAW R3D still to another computer while rolling :)
No. There is not an RF radio inside the HOTLINK. (but if RED gave me the RF spec - I could spin a HOTLINK 2 for NAB easy breezy)
BUT ... there might be another way ...

2) HDMI (path 2) (DSMC brain)
3) HD-SDI (path 3) (DSMC brain)

And you can currently make a custom overlay that displays the gamma in the middle of the screen between reel/clip and TC.
"more experienced" folks use light meters :)
but yes, your note is a very good one.
Gavin = Smartest Guy in the Room
someone already has red.red :)
3D LUTs are going to implemented and accessed via wifi on every single digital cinema camera made moving forward. Period.
Not clear yet. Also not clear if we can get different/independent gammas applied to SDI and EVF/LCD outputs.
We will have to wait for details - but no matter those details are - it's fantastic...
