The 30-105 is for Super 35. The new Zeiss 28-80mm will cover FF.
But I am able to modify the Canon 30-105mm and it works. Now a PL mount and Canon EOS mounted Cine zoom that converts to PL or Canon within seconds without tools.
Hey Timur, I checked but that adapter will not work on the Cabrio.
If you cant find anything closer give me a call.
There was a PL mount for the Epic/Scarlet at the NAB Red booth that will enlarge the image circle for S35 lenses to cover the 6K sensor. It did have a slight light loss if I remember correctly.
I will be checking them out since I have a set that I need to get rehoused.
Red #640 & 1636 still working and rented all the time.
Tripod? Do you mean something for the docking station? I always use a baby C-Stand with a sandbag.
Hey Timur, I got the same exact lens and version in stock if you ever need to rent it.
I have a 12-240mm available.
You can sand down the top of the shoulder dovetail until it fits. I used a belt sander. It now fits perfectly.
Any lens in that range is going to be big and require support. The options you have are. Angenieux 25-250mm Old Version and they make 2 newer ones but will most likely be over the $ 10,000 mark. Then...
RIP Ken. It was a pleasure knowing you!!!!!
You need to make sure that the wide angle lens you are using for the adjustments is collimated correctly otherwise all of this will be for nothing.
I have the Pro I/O module that makes the timecode connector to 5-pin and I have that cable as well. I am in NYC.
I wouldn't say one is better than the other as far as mounting is concerned. If I had a choice for camera mount, I would choose EF so then I can use both Nikon & Canon. More lens mounts are adaptable...
I have one in NY if anyone is interested in giving it a spin. It is not for sale though. Only rental.
I can fully cinestyle these lenses as well as properly declick them. They are not easy to do. Very tricky.
I am sure someone can make this plate (maybe a good idea to look into) but you really should be able to take a proper length 1/4x20 screw and it should work. You may need to shorten a screw as well...
I am pretty sure you can use that plate and put a 1/4x20 screw through it and it would work as a QR plate but if you want proper height and centering, you will probably need to make a riser plate or...
the 24-70 version I does produce a sharp image but it should be considered a variable prime since it does go out of focus when you zoom. I have looked at a few of these and most do suffer from this....
I am still open to anyone wanting to test out lenses. I will supply cameras, any lens in my stock and my premises.
Looks like the Sony version has pins for the F3 to read it.
Yes.
My 30-105 arrives tomorrow if anyone would like to test it.
