I am having the same problem for the last two days!?

I upgraded both camera and REDMOTE with the latest firmwares successfully but the REDMOTE only works while attached to the EPIC....

Does anyone know what camera they are using on the new Robocop?

Yes, like I said the IS on the 70-200 works like a dream and continuously.

My question was: If on the DSLRs it is supposed to work for 2 seconds what does it mean for the non-stop stabilization...

I recently discovered the joy of IS while using my newly bought Canon 70-200 2.8 Mark 2. Yesterday I was shooting hand-held for hours testing the lens and I was amazed to see how well the IS works...

Thanks for the valuable info. RED is indeed about to release a Nikon mount but I am not sure if it can control the G lenses.

I start considering those Nikon primes instead of zooms....

Yeah, those were already suggested so they are under consideration but what I am trying to figure out is if Nikon has similar lenses that perform better optically.

Well, the roadtrip is for personal reasons and I will not shoot any kind of project in its duration so a variety of focal lengths is not necessary. Having said that, a lens equivalent to red's 18-85...
