What is about that ? Taken today.
I understand that you are trying being helpful, but over simplification of matter of rating the camera to just 800 ISO is bit tiering.
Sorry to hear that you being a DP don't have control over...
Settings on camera and rating for which ISO you expose is different.
If and only if two versions were made -- RF and PL.
Don't get me started about mount-adapters.
Yes, Yes I know it's possible. But what is possible is not always the best.
It also depends which generation you have. Newer ones are much brighter. They have a bigger ballast and I think more intensive leds.
Too much attention to the settings of the camera, sometimes it's as easy as how much light actually hitting the sensor.:skep:
Being there, usually it goes like that: Lets make one more take, Okey another one, Ok the last one. F.ck it lets close the aperture, its a good camera we will deal with it in post.:toetap05:
Also interesting having his fellow student as a focus puller which Fstop they had on this dark frame.
So WHY it's a secret how exposure was measured? Was it the same for different cameras or not?
It's raw, because of that we expose as we want is very controversial statement.
Exposuring 50D and 500T...
Point is not to injure Gunther or dismiss him of his work.
Consistency I find in all the ISOs shoot with a lot of under and over exposure for each one. It's nothing unobjective in it.
For myself I...
So as I expected scientific approach coming to reading online manual of 3 pages and make assumptions.
Can we check 2 stops under For Komodo against two stops over for Alexa? Maybe the noise floor is...
Sure nobody speaks about the numbers you can dial in the menu of the camera.
They were checking different cameras, didn't they?
Checking highlight recovery without knowing real sensitivity of the...
Do i read this correct, that hitting with the same amount of light different sensors one with native 250 ISO and other 1600 ISO you will have different amount of recoverable stops above middle gray...
Somebody waiting for you to receive Your camera? Very interested is what kind of projects are willing to wait.:rolleyes5: Hope its some student shorts or something.
You can always rent and make the...
What else? Maybe never take it out of the box it shipped or god forbid something will happen.
Fist I would check batteries and all what is connected with electricity in it.
How many photo cameras...
Its not a negativity, its a simple lack of objectivity from your side. You compare cameras without shooting them side by side. Its the same to say that you know the best
runner, but don't know how...
I like that everybody who is speaking about some kind color casts or noise or whatever in their cameras always say that other cameras don't have it. But never take the time to shoot side be side...
+100%
It's all crafted, I don't see any shoot not to be made. Maybe it's not a choice for everybody.
Did he checked two or MORE Komodo's?
Did he checked SIDE by side with his other cameras in the same CONDITIONS?
Did he checked with different filters of the SAME brand?
Did he checked with...
Its a bit of contradiction here. That is one.
And second checking supposed to be done with several cameras and several filters. Not with the only set you have at home with the only camera you have...
Just a side note. For anybody interested. If you can go to near by rental and check different cameras with the same set of filters and the SAME camera with different set of filters of same brand and...
Can you post an example. Did you ever shoot some test? It's a bold statement at least.
Protection is not the the case with NDs , I know you know that, but a point is, some DPs want as much glass in front of the lens is zilch. That have nothing to do with still lenses or protection of...
Some advice is to go cheap, other to go with convinient stuff, that can cost a bit more.
Workarounds are never good choice in work environment.
CPs are just rehoused photo optics and quite heavy....
