1. Run it from the mains if you can
2. Roll back to the latest release firmware - name the folder "force_upgrade" so the camera will do it automatically

I would love - hell I need a solution with no power cable. It doesn't make sense when the tech is clearly there to make it happen.
Someone has made a cable for the side handle already... I saw a picture on REDUser somewhere.
I'm sure they chose that themselves!
Awesome video!
Selling brand new and packaged - used once to test they work.
Reason for sale is that we just aren't using them.

Shot late last year.
Sadly couldn't source an Epic Monochrome at the time so used the regular old Epic-M.
Shot at 60fps, mostly on a RRP 50mm.
Best I've seen so far was Prometheus.

I don't see the need to spilt RED stuff for sale and everything else for sale.
My 1st AC borrowed the new Hocus Focus Axis1 for a recent commercial and I've got nothing bad to say about it. It's fantastic. It's not in general production at the moment but it should be soon.

my gut says go with a 4k PAR
Hi guys
I've got a shoot tomorrow through till Friday and I'm looking to rent a nice handheld rig. Ideally a Mantis or the Clutch.
VMI are all out and I don't know anywhere else in London that...
It's fine with long takes of an hour+
you have to keep an eye on the temp (obviously)
If the camera crashed during the take, I'm pretty sure the footage would be okay. You might need to use...
Awesome!
What's the flight time? What lenses did you use?
I turned the Sat down to 0 in the look menu and had no problem
RR was built for 4k, it struggles with 5k.
1/2 is no problem though
I think it should be renamed as it seems to be causing a lot of confusion.
I actually do exactly what you do. REDlogFilm @ 800ISO. I've never once used raw view.
At this point it's basically a...
Shot on Epic-X with Red Pro Primes -- always around T2 1/2 at 800ISO. No budget (no flags or nets!!) but we got some great stuff over three days.
This is a promo to help develop interest in the...

Hoisted by their own petard.
How are you powering it? It has a little on-off switch underneath the power input.
