I may be wrong, but I believe so. You trade-in the brain and side module.

The easiest way I've found is to acquire a list of file names. Then you can import that txt list into ABFR and rename the specified files in the same order as your R3d Raw.

I concur w/ Harry. I have a generic battery plate which has a DTap that takes any type of V-Mount battery. Just plug it into the plate for convenience and longevity.
