How do you focusing with Carbonite scope and touch compared to EVF ? I find monitor is a bit soft and focus assist too sharp, so focus is hard to judge either way...

The lowest capacity GMP website recommends for RED camera is 160Wh, though the 95Wh would be more in keeping with EPIC/SCARLET compact size......

OK, if that's the case more could be less. I would go for 6' instead which is the length of RED belt clip cable, and that seems to work fine.

I'd by up for an 18". I could also see a use for a 8-10' cable, more is more...

Do you mean the PIX 220?
It doesn't have SDI I/O or timecode I/O.

I think the Hyperdeck only records uncompressed (correct me if I'm wrong) so that's A LOT of data, more than RAW, that will need to be transcoded anyway. So doesn't help much..
