I'm not sure I understand.. the smallest of those is 85mm. I don't have any Canon mount lenses that are that large. I have a canon 50mm that is 57mm width, and a Tokina 11-16mm and Rokinon 85mm...
I'm trying to figure out everything I need to get the O'Connor O-Box working with my Scarlet on a RedRock MicroShoulderMount. I think so far what I need is:
1. O'Connor O-BOX WM
2. Wooden...
I've noticed shots that had just the slightest clipping in the darks are clipping way more now with RG3/RC3. Not sure why that would be.
Rob, I appreciate the fast reply. I realized right after I deleted it that I should have backed it up, knowing you guys like to find out what the root cause is. Hopefully there will not be a next...
Ugh, never mind. I deleted my app data and that fixed it, in case that helps anyone else (C:\Users\<username>\appdata\Local\red)
For the past few days, on the old build and the newest build (11 beta), exporting video does nothing. It doesn't cause any errors to be logged in the status, and the export window just says...
So when the quicktime video gets transcoded, say by youtube, will the gamma be less bright?
Uh.. strange. I exported to TIFF, and things look like they do in RedCine, unlike QuickTime files. Now I'm really confused.
Marc, I'm using RedColor2 and RedGamma2. The resulting quicktime file looks more like RedLogFilm. I just have a BenQ G2400W, set up by me, and I am not using any LUTs.
I guess my confusion is...
I've tried exporting R3D's to Uncompressed Quicktime in the following software:
RedCine-X Pro Beta 64 Bit
Adobe Premiere CS5.5
Adobe After Effects CS5.5
And with all of these, the resulting...
This issue occurs on two completely different computers:
After inserting the 64GB SSD into the red station via eSata, I can see the files fine. When I try to copy them to my hard drive, it goes...
I'm assuming my hubris motivated the Red gods into action :) Can't wait to meet "Gaius".
Woah! SO1819 allocated today. Looks like I owe Robert a drink.
Hmm, things do seem to be picking up.
So we are almost two hours into the orders.. 12 more to go for me.
Except, keep in mind that it ended up being way more expensive than many people thought. I was prepared to order right away, but when I was surprised at the new specs and price, I held off to...
At less than 10 a day... ouch. Hopefully their ramp up is quite significant.
We are just arguing as to whose wild guess is more absurd :)
I said around 600 +-100 :). Based on the SO#'s *and* the serial numbers, I think it's a good optimistic estimate. And even if the serial #'s are shipping pseudo-randomly, i'd imagine they most...
I never said there is a ridiculous amount of orders. They have, however, sent out around 600 scarlets, maybe + or - 100, after over 60 days of shipping, and are barely getting to people who ordered...
I'm not taking what you say as mean, and I don't think it is going to take me a year, as I ordered within 12 hours.
And it isn't about Red. I don't have faith in anything. If Red had reliably...
I'd wager money they won't be out of back-order in March. If they were on target they would be providing more information. I've mentioned it before, but they are loosing orders over not being able...
I love how optimistic some of you are. They haven't even shipped a thousand scarlets, and it's been two months. On top of that, Jarred didn't even mention it in his backorder update (you have to...
I wonder how much this pushes back the estimated out-of-backorder date for Scarlets. April now maybe?
