This could be GL Optics rehouse ;-)))))))))))
Their 80-20 is not cheap but quality of that particular zoom is the best i have seen.
phil this might be interest to you.
Thank your for your email.
We are currently designing the 24-70mm which we hope to have a prototype ready for NAB 2014. Once that...
Very nice set but 60mm Macro is missing;-)
GL OPTICS should start considering 24-70 rehouse. I know it is much harder then rehousing primes, but there is lot of users interested in 24-70. Nan promissed me personally he would look at it last...
...but to mix Schneider look with Sigma look....will it match..
Their 80-200 is the best rehouse i have seen. Would be something to have full frame 24-70 ...at last.
And having 14-24 would be tops....this would be full frame zoom set for half of $$ of Zeiss CZ....
Nice cases and pictures...
Now how would they go against CNEs,CP2s or Otus ;-)
Have like new 80-200 in box with hood. $700
When will Sigma 24-70mm f2.0 be released?
I hope it will not have IS.
Nikon 17-35 and 28-70 would be my choice but Nan can not rehouse these ;-(
We should ask Jacek if he can do the same as Century -Schneider 28-70. They used Minolta zoom.
Century 17-35 and 28-70. It was done before.
By the way,i was offered bundle Canon 15.5-47 and 30-105...
Is the lens Damaged?
They all rehouse the same still zooms.
Tokinas and now Sigma 18-35.
Lenses must have no IS.
So where is midrange ? Is it possible to rehouse old Angie / Tokina...
But i see Iris Throw is very short.....:-(. Like on Canons CNEs
I have asked at least 3 times in past 1-2 years.
Nan promissed but he and others rather rehouse primes or short parfocal zooms like latest Sigma or Tokina.
Unless you get parfocal 24/28-70mm lens,...
Depends what one shoots.
it is good to have 1.4 even if you use is 10 x a year....
i could not survive only with 2.8 and more. Quite boring ;-(
What a nonsense comparing master primes to CPs.
CPs were the first affordable cine lenses.
their UNEVEN f stop is bloody even from 25mm to 135mm ALL T2.1. Including 2 macros.
Ugly- no way mr...
Will be interesting to see if Otus 25mm will be F1.4.
Good points Clayton.
Tehre is one more thing regarding Schneiders....they get you on cheap $4000 per lens but when you go wider -25MM- it will cost you $6-8000.
Just imagine how much 18mm and 14mm...
If somebody can not see picture difference between Sony's F55 "piggy skintones" and great Arri,Canon,Panasonic ones, then who cares.
On the paper Sonys F5,55 have it all but on monitor no way. Amira...
Minis are lighter and will have better rental and resale.
Schneiders are faster. Choices for some, but i would not spend $50,000 on non full frame set in 2014.
Great optis. So...
but i can not get hold of lenses in Sydney, they do not have them here.
I was hoping for some tests against other brands, oh well...
