Anamorphic is not just wide screen. a 2x has more info per inch in the vertical than the horizontal. It is an optical quality, not just cropping standard lenses.

2.5k is a great resolution. We already have computers that can display 2.5k. Enough working area for Image stabilization, and re framing. 2K and 1080p will still be the standard for a couple more...

I think we will see many 4K solutions in the next 12 months. You have to have the cameras out first, to sell the TVs later.

There is an eyeTV thing that takes over the air SD TV and sends it through the Ipads port. So it must be possible to input a video signal. So I'm surprised no one has an HDMI to Ipod dock adapter....

Is there any hardware way to send HDMI out to use New ipad as a display?

I never update unless an app needs something like .NET or JAVA. Its easy to break something that works fine.
