Fantastic in-depth tutorial! I love how you give a few examples at the beginning. Now, I'm hungry for more ;) So glad I could contribute my footage.

Done! 11.21. :-))
I'm literally doing the same since 9am (California time). No change so far...
I was wondering the same until I checked the FAQs. Here you go:
Given Blackmagic's track record of shipping, it'd be wise to pre-order as soon as possible if you're seriously interested. :D
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the article. The interview was such a nice way to learn more about you and your motivations. Keep up the fantastic work and continue to dream BIG. I'm very much looking...
Hey Rob,
We have used our Pro I/O module on several occasions now, from high-budget commercials to lower end short films and it works wonderful. We mainly use it to get a sound signal directly into...
I have now updated the RED ROCKET firmware and driver to the latest version. However, I experience some serious issues. When the ROCKET is activated clips cannot be loaded. The viewer in REDCINE-X...
An official red user meet-up would be awesome!
That's a beautiful analogy, Ketch. It's definitely true. RED clearly led and will lead the way with its upcoming REDRAY and 4K distribution. My prediction: In less than two years, there will be...
Hi Christopher,
I was in the same boat as you a couple of weeks ago. Here's a list with the appropriate formats:
SMPTE (JPEG 2000)
Flat (1998×1080 or 3996×2160), ~1.85:1 aspect ratio
...
I really love your grading on these shots. Especially the skin tones look great. Can't believe there are still some people claiming the EPIC wouldn't be able to capture natural (or beautiful) skin...
I own the latest Cube (155) and agree with Bernard. However, it's important to note that you'll have to setup a wireless network in order to connect multiple devices (iPads). We tried that out and it...
That's awesome. I like how Ridley addresses the ever growing "problem" of viewing movies on tiny screens, as well as his opinion toward RED and the use of digital acquisition. Yes, we need bigger...
Thanks for the pictures, Vincent. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it myself this year. Pre-Production kept me quite busy. ;)
Haha. Heisenberg's finest: RED EPIC. Anyways, I just love my EPIC. Being able to shoot in a small configuration that isn't that much bigger than a DSLR is absolutely amazing.
Looks stunning. Keep up the fantastic work!
As always: Ketch sharing and caring. I love your approach to filmmaking and the fact that you'll give us such an in-depth insight into your project. Keep it up! ;)
So sad. R.I.P. Tony. You'll always be remembered.
Absolutely agree on that. I recently purchased the EPIC and ordered REDVOLTSs as well as a few RED BRICK V-Mount batteries. I love to shoot with a small setup, run and gun style. Therefore, the...
That's an impressive achievement for just 48 hours! I love the cinematography and the story twist at the end of the film. Great work!
That's awesome news! It will make the ordering process a lot easier for us Germans. ;)
+1 Agreed ;)
The trailer looks amazing! For me, the special thing about the movie is that it's produced by two German studios. With a budget of $140 million, the 'Cloud Atlas' will be the first German blockbuster...
Hey Johnny,
Thanks for the info. I have decided to go with the ICY DOCK external bay systems since these are available in Germany, too.
