It's not fed from other people, it's experienced first hand. Both the 17-40 and 24-105 lose/gain a stop from each end of the zoom range (when used for video) even though they are stated...

Yeah my 17-40 lost/gained one stop at each end of the zoom spectrum, the 24-105 does it too (have heard all the Canon stills zooms do it to some degree?).

Does the Tamron lose/gain light as you zoom in/out like the Canon zooms do or does the exposure stay constant?
