Well done Pawel! I hope you win!
Red could use something like this http://blog.abelcine.com/2013/03/26/convergent-design-announces-new-odyssey7-odyssey7q/ as a Onboard recording option. I feel that NAB will have a whole range of new...
Great short !!
I was using R3D Data manager and at another time Double Data, both of which gave the all clear for the copy being okay, but we have the same looking corruption happening randomly through a lot of the...
I have had the same issue. In my case it was a transfer issue when copying the SSDs. Try playing back the SSDs in camera. If they are fine do a new copy. That worked for me.
Wish I could enter ... but over being in Aus keeps me out :(
It will be a great competition, and what an amazing prize!
I have had the same issue (last week and about a year ago) both were corrupted during the transfer process.
The way I got around the corrupt frames happening was to change computers for...
Do the Pro I/O modules that are out there already have 1.5A power output or is there a new model Pro I/O?
I have had another shoot where I was getting corrupt frames. After getting another Epic in with new media I was able to confirm where the issue was coming from. After doing lots of tests of different...

Wow DaVinci gives the background a whole new look! :)

I had the same issue. My camera went back to red and there issue was said to be firmware. Since having it back I have had no issues.
I also have a Pro I/O and would love to hear the outcome (if possible)
Great idea ! I want one
Great idea! I would buy one to have in my kit.
Thank you for posting the link. Interesting reading.
Great idea, but I do not need one.
Great ! I have been waiting for this. They said ages back they would be able to do it.
I would love to have onboard ProRes & DNxHD recording as an option if needed.
I am finding now I am up against more and more large format cameras to get work for my Epic. Not all the shoots have...
Beautiful !
But remember you only get a certain number of charge cycles. I am not sure the number but think its in the 1000 to 2000 area.
My origo works with my Epic when used with the pro I/O. It triggers record and stop record, just the record indicator light does not light up on the origo. I use it when hand held shooting.
