Last we heard Zak was looking for a very specific lens (one we don't carry) a 10mm Ziess. We have a 12mm and of coarse the duclose 11-16.
I admit no particular expertise, but logic suggest "full auto" to be the best solution. This will protect the sensor from over heat when needed, and save battery (and maybe grain/black cal issues)...
