Interesting....
Sounds awesome. Looking forward to attending. I plan on bringing our epic underwater housing for everyone to play with.
It makes sense for larger software bundles such as an Adobe package, but for smaller software like Shotputpro I still prefer an owned license.
+1 from this guy.
Hello Red Users,
I'm looking at purchasing a used AC cart that is currently local to the midwest. I'd be looking at either a junior film tools or Yaeger branded cart. I also won't rule out a Film...
I do like the 17-50 as a great budget PL lens. I'd take it any day over a canon still zoom.
I was disappointed to here that this will be release only in 2K. I was looking forward to a 4K release of this.
What type of lenses and in what setup do you plan to be using mostly?

We just got the micron system and absolutely love it.
I have the 16-42, 30-80 and the 45-120. I love the 30-80 for narrative work.
We own one of the only Equinox housings for Epic and Scarlet. We've been very happy with the footage we've seen and look forward to sending out on more jobs. Check it out at...
The 17-50 does vignette at 5kFF but that is why I also have the Angenieux glass as well. I imagine if some cinema glass has issues with the dragon sensor, RED will re-release a set of RPPs.
Excellent idea Luke.
I have a Epic / Scarlet Underwater housing here in Chicago that we ship out regularly on jobs. Send me an email with the details of your shoot. leland at daufenbachcamera dot com
I nearly threw my 24-290 into a wall when it didn't fit into my DSLR backpack ;-)
Quite the opposite from my experience. 95% of the people I work with loathe still lenses for shooting video. The other 5% are ok with them for locked off shots or for throwing on a dslr for a C or D...
Hey Luke,
Wisconsin is such a small market that one or two more REDS could over saturate the market. Give them good reasons to have a 4k negative. Sadly though, 90% of the market in Wisconsin...
I got this email early on. Glad I didn't invest in the Gemini Recorder with the ARRI Raw license.
I'm going to try to squeeze time between two shoots to make it up there. It looks very exciting.
It's a hell of a story... think Life of Pi but with cameras.... Other than the Green Bay Film Festival coming up, anything else big happening in the cheese state?

One of the more " Raw " behind the scenes I've ever seen. Very cool!
I agree. We should do it before spring and summer get busy with productions.
