???
That's the beautiful thing about RED, old footage is new footage.
What file format would I try for a LUT from Resolve to RCX?
DnXHD175X.
Congratulations Pawel. Just saw your write up on red.com

That 3rd shot of the seahorse is very nice and the lighting on...
I doubt RCX makes use of the CUDA cores on our GPUs. I have a 680 in my tower now and I still get 1/8th, maybe up to 1/4th playback in RCX as before. Is there a setting to enable to the GPU? But R3D...
so when buying SSDs for a Raid 0. What should I be looking for?
CHEER!!!!
Zak,
Looks like you got the help you need. When you finish installing everything, let us know what kind of playback you are getting with your GPU. 1/2 Res smooth or a little choppy?
Can we take our color corrections in resolve and bring them into RCX? Our DP likes doing her first light in Resolve but the editor has been seeing weird bugs in Avid and prefers the trancode from...

600MB/s + very nice!
Just finished a batch of 10 minutes and 52 seconds of footage in 63 minutes 14 sections.
6:1 ratio, but much better than 16:1.
This is on my internal Raid 0 300-400MB/s. Still not sure how you...
how fast are your drives? MB/s?
It's the DITs. His MBPr is kicking my fully loaded Mac Pros butt here on set :)
I'm still getting around 16 minutes per minute of transcoded footage. I talked with the guys at Black Magic Design,...
bit depth 10?
The Crucial M500 960GB looks very good. Seems Crucial has done a good job with reliability in the M4 drives.

Incorrect.
Resolve does not use GPU to transcode R3D files. It uses CPU (words from a conversation with the guys over at BM). The bottleneck is still the debayer of R3D clips.
On a 2009 8-core...
What does that mean exactly?
Very nice. These are stills grabbed from motion?
In my experience the minimum for an editing drive with R3D footage is 300MS/s. Shoot for higher with the Dragon footage.
You'll also appreciate the speed in an external RAID. USB3/eSATA/TB.
Yup.
Looking forward to the new Fan.
Mooney,
What about looking into some US based tech support. This over seas none sense is useless.
Does the Titan support OS X? What about boot camp?
