This lens works fine at 4k. Starts to vignette slightly at 5k. Same for the Tokina 11-16.

I agree with Kyle, the DP6 is a great monitor with much better resolution than the Red touch screen and great for focussing. But it's not a touch screen, so you'll lose the touch focus abilities and...

Fired up fine for me. 720p output from the camera, straight into the DP6 with no adjustments.

I am one of many people hoping and assuming the HD-SDI will output 1080p at up to 25fps, for use with the PIX 240 ProRes recorder. Jarred confirmed it will work, but didn't mention a 720p limitation....

I saw it at Sundance, where it won the top prize. Excellent film, beautifully shot. You would not know it was shot on a Canon - and that's the way it should be.

Thanks, but I don't want to record a 5K signal, I want to record scaled 1080p into ProRes via the HD-SDI output and using the full 5k field of view.

Even though the Scarlet only shoots 12fps at 5K, will it still output 24fps (or even better 25fps) 1080p through the HD-SDI at that resolution? So, would recording 1080p to something like an AJA Ki...
