The UniQs are terrible. Had to use them for a commercial shoot once. There is no easier way to make a RED look like cheap video than by using these lenses. Size-wise, they are similar to RPPs, but...

Go for it. People have been lighting with china balls for years! The quality of light will be very similar, just make sure to control the directionality and it's a great lower budget solution.

Yup! The Tribeca Film Festival announced today that our 6 Second Short is a Finalist. Pretty cool for literally shooting something in one six second take in an afternoon!

Which RCX pre-set is that?

If you're doing widescreen at 5K with a nice set of Zeiss Superspeeds, it'll be fine for a feature. The Cooke would vignette, though.
