I have a 25 2.8, a 50 1.4 and a 135 2.8 all in MM versions. All of them show some colored fringing wide open in the out of focus areas (to be expected as I understand). Do you find this...
Are you using neat video noise reduction on any clips?
you can select all your files and make a multicam clip which syncs sound as well

Your def right it's Japanese but without the 4screws and the tab it will have to be an AEG style mount
The lens in the picture is an AEG version.
Its a narrow mount
It's in the fcpx manual. They are bound by certain rules. Once you play a bit you will work it out.
Yes Native R3Ds. Use the color wheel and re adjust the values. The other controls related to the sample color tool are disabled in this mode. It can work really well
It's strange I've tried to use it for a while on R3Ds too. It won't work straight up but if you use the qualifiers instead its fine. You have to adjust in the color wheel def a bug I reckon.

You can do a 5.1 cinema surround mix in the most basic of protools systems as long as you have an interface with 6 simultaneous outputs. Any version from 7 will work.
From 9 on there...
Standard Protools is fine for any surround cinema mix
Everything you need is there. Dont worry about HD.
Make sure you have the best audio monitors you can afford and reasonably "dead" mixing...
All depends on condition. How many miles has your card done?
Anyone have a 64GIG Redmag for sale in Melbourne?
Would you consider selling a 64G Redmag separately? I'm in Melbourne
The way I'm working at the moment is
Set look in RCX
Save RMD Files
Import into FCPX with all audio tracks
Name each video and audio file depending on camera, angle, recorder etc using as much...
Did the project originally have proxy files rendered? This would explain the upscale. If it is proxy files you can delete them from the project folder in users and re render in the 4k timeline.
