I have an original owner RED Rocket card for sale if anyone needs one. Right now it is safely ensconced inside a 2008 Mac tower that needs to find a new home too. Also have a rack mounted Dulce Pro...
Unfortunately, the LaserPecker2 name is already taken: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/laserpecker-pro/laserpecker-2-the-best-handheld-laser-engraverandcutter/
All of the ongoing commentary is making for a good laugh. Reminds me of the quote, "A camel is a horse designed by a committee."
Will disagree about this because it was implied by what he was saying.
I too agree with Jacek's point about RED's marketing. It's up to them to do whatever they choose, and clearly it has been...
His words, not mine, thus the quotation marks.
Assuming you're (not your) an actual owner, you should have had this discussion with yourself BEFORE you purchased the "far right fascist" camera. You have only yourself to blame.
How about Barney? Is that better?

Well good for you.
Fair enough. I respect your opinion.
But isn't that what everyone does with a product, name it something memorable? Car companies do it with reckless abandon. RED's tongue-in-cheek naming is silly...
Sounds like you have more of an issue with the military in general than with RED.
I've never have an issue with the "militaristic" naming convention used by RED. Like Phil, I thought calling the viewfinder a BOMB was going to be an issue at the airport, i.e. "You can't say bomb on...
Here's a Ducati commercial with the wildest aerial footage I've seen yet, and it was shot on a Komodo attached to a Moneyshot Lite, flown by Alex Vanover. Insane abilities:...
Replacing one fake celebrity with another. If so, then whom shall we worship?
I did love the underwater plexiglass idea. Hadn't seen that before, great hack.
"These aren't the Droids you're looking for. Move along."
Take a look at my comment #25 in this thread where I post a link and a couple images: http://www.reduser.net/forum/showthread.php?173800-Have-we-forgotten-about-HDRx
That scene has motion blur,...
My guess would be motion blur. HDRx was useful for the one-time I used it in a production. But even with that, there was motion blur that can be seen in the shot. I kept it because the HDRx solution...
ADR would be much more fun because you could make them say whatever you wanted.
Or the Comic Sans of the RED One, for those of us who were there. ;-)
Yes, lame attempt at a joke. But thanks for the link. Long live Wilhelm, the most overused and goofy track, the Papyrus of sound effects....
I looked but no Wilhelm Scream. Very sad.
LOL! That was great!
Would you be interested in buying a gun also? Cynthia Ziegler is looking for other trolls for target practice.
Love it! What's with all these guys and their fancy Nikon Z6s? They're taking some mighty fine images. Keep it up!
