I'm sorry if i wasn't clear, the use of proxy files is strictly for offline editing.. so no, i don't want full resolution, i work with the _M files (1K) on 4K files, with low quality...

Proxy's are buggy
-Not for me... I've been editing proxy's for a while now (i use the _M for 4k material) and haven't had one problem yet.
ProRes is no way of linking back to the r3d with out...

we used the red 18-50 and a few zeiss primes...

The international premiere of my short film 'ONE' will be at the Int. Film Festival Rotterdam. The film was shot in 4k 2:1 earlier this year (if i remember correctly, it was build 15). Edited in FCP...

but do you have to go through premiere to go to AE? what about going straight from FCP to AE?

Even the new and improved L&T transfer using the native redcode? does it still stay slow?

Saw the 'double feature' at the DGA (director's guild) Theatre here in NYC last weekend... very cool!
