Tom, Just stick a hole in it and it will drain, when on the boat I always carry a bottle of fresh water which I chuck over the port and then stick the port cover back on.
Thanks for the link Mike.

I thought the Canon 8-15mm covered full frame all the way through...... obviously not.
Looks really interesting Rudi
24-105 is a great lens for run and gun. I use it all the time
Will, yes stills from motion.
Rudi, I will grab the R3D and post when I get back in the office. I have messed around with the images in RCX plus did a little colour tinkering in Aperture so I could...

Some South Australian whites from a shoot last week. The bottom cage is pretty cool but a PIA to shoot from as it bounces and is pretty deep (30m / 100ft) fingers crossed it gets a good grade for the...
Just got the email to upgrade this am which is pretty funny as the specs aren't actually out. For me better lowlight and 5K at 60fps is awesome. For me in the underwater world totally stoked as my...
How many other people shoot aerial in your area? Can you rent if you need it.... I have never used one but I'm sure they take some practice and also consider your insurance for both.
There's a TV show in that Johnny!
BTW: Love the avatar Ross
Bloody great news, 5K 60 fps, great in low light, low noise. Happy man!
No more hair dryer, great work
Mark,
I wouldn't go less than 3k you loose to much and the image suffers but as jonny says 4k would be better, shoot lowest compression possible.
Hey Greg,
Try the Big Global media ones, I use the 160's as I travel with them but they also do 230. The 160's last me around 2.5hrs so you should get over 3 hrs with them. Also chat to John E as I...
Have you tried re-copy across. I had a similar issue with files when they were transferred from a backup. Came up offline on main and back up drive. I then deleted and re copied and they worked fine
Greg, if you weren't worried about the other footage, format the card via redmote.
I'm pretty sure my policy is underwritten by Chubb, $1.1K for $60k or gear, specifically covers flood and provides reaplcement hire costs for prebooked jobs
I'm with Ross I use FIUA for cover. it isn't cheap but it isn't exorbitant and it covers floods, travel etc etc etc. I am happy for the piece of mind
Dodgy b'stard!!! Well spotted
Thanks guys, I will email you now Jonathan
I have recently been away and shooting an event, dumped footage onto two portable drives and verified all good. I have come back to the office and transferred onto larger 3.5" drives for editing and...
FAR OUT, would have made a killer shot at 5K 96 fps!
Hi Andy,
I have used both Pawels housing and I own a Deep Epic, to answer your questions
He uses a smaHD monitor inside and yes that fits with a brick
You have access to record / power and one of...
LOL, funny bastard!
Great images BTW Frazier
Very jealous guys, looked like a fun trip. Lovely images
Great work Mark,
I could do with a lightweight surf housing, I have a Fuel TV show on this year and it would be great to use Scarlet and Epic. Can you PM me costs etc
