Sigma or Tokina!
I do a lot of gimbal work and therefore prefer the Sigmas. The Tokinas are awesome but a little bit bigger and heavier.
Other than that I can't really add much more than what...
Looks beautiful. Well done!
I assume you're talking about DaVinci Resolve?!
Yes, it's possible.
If you push (push once, not push and hold) the N key while dragging a clip Snapping is temporarily disabled.
Push the N...
The first episode is a little tough to watch but it gets really good after that.
Great show!

These look great!
The XEEN CFs might be capable little lenses but the Sigmas will hold their value much better than the XEENs ever will.
Also, the Sigmas will have some rental value. Whereas the XEENs won't so...
Beautiful work man!
The shots in The Pit cenote are gorgeous, too!

Thank you!
Maximum frame rate for ProRes 422 HQ, ProRes 422 and ProRes 422 LT at 4K (4096 × 2160) is up to 30 fps.
Did you shoot at 4K or higher? If so, that might be the problem.
R3D should play back...

Salomon XA PRO, the most comfortable and versatile shoe I've ever owned. I'm probably on my 9th pair and have been buying these for 7 or 8 years. I prefer the GTX version because I work on location a...
A bunch of samples on this page. Check the specs to see if it was filmed on the 4K or the new 6K Camera.

Looks like sun damage.
I've seen that a couple of times before. Probably sunlight coming in through the eye piece and it was magnified by the optics and burned the OLED.
As far as I know the...
Selling my Dana Dolly Kit.

I might be interested. Would love to see some photos. Are they for a 100mm bowl size tripod?
Thanks,

Unless your clients are asking for 8K deliverables, I'd say go with the Gemini. I was facing the same question and I went with the Gemini and couldn't be happier.

You could build a 20x20 box of duveyteen with a roof and leave one side open, pull down the exposure on the ambient and add some backlight. It's a little involved but that would be one way to get...
How about $600. I'll pay for shipping to Asheville and PayPal.

Hands down, Sennheiser HD 380 Pro!
We just finished a documentary, which we captured at 16:9 with 2.39:1 frame guides.
I composed all the shots with the 2.39:1 frame. Later the project was edited at 16:9 without the 2.39:1 bars...
Looks like dust on the sensor to me. Does this camera have interchangeable OLPFs. I know interchangeable OLPFs was an add-on option for the Epic. If it has interchangeable OLPFs, try putting on a...
I use a Decimator to feeld multiple SDI signals into the monitor. Works pretty good.
Let me know if you'd like to hear more about the Decimator.

Hey Paul,
Yes, of course it can't compete with some high-end grading monitor but those are anywhere from $7K-$30K. Apples and Oranges...
As a director's monitor I think it's a solid option.

I've had this monitor for about 3 months now and it is great value for money. I use it alongside my 17" TVLogic and 17" Panasonic monitors and I prefer the Osee 21.5 over the others. It has become my...
