Yep the R1 MX and original Red One is still a great camera, i tell producers over and over they can still use it, but it's like talking to a brick wall.

At 5k vingete wide up to about 27mm, then fine out to 110mm. And same 5k 2:1 and 5k wide screen, but then "5k HD" format its cropped in enough to fully cover the image area through the entire range....

Just before you go and buy, also consider what cameras you will be shooting on, if the lenses may be for rental then consider that the RPP's will not fit on a lot of other cameras without...

Jim I thought it had been released? What about all those cameras upgraded at NAB, are they out in the field or sat in Red HQ?

It's quite clear from the pictures it is a FF5 HD. I would have thought anyone interested would have seen that point, and been aware of finding out what version it is before asking if it was...

Hans as perhaps you should have started this with the fact that in 2005 Arri released the D20 ? , a digital movie camera with manual shutter and 35mm sensor, fairly groundbreaking at the time....

Nothing more to be honest. Seems to be a comprehensive kit, there should be a long EVF cable for the eyepiece ext, but that's pretty much it, plus this kit has the hi-speed licence which costs extra.

It's a standard 16:9 package. They did the EV and pro package. Pro package came with a load of accessories. Looks like a nice kit, with reasonable hrs.
