I get about 2 hours per Red Brick, and 25-30 Min on Redvolts. Between my 2 Bricks and 6 volts I haven't run out of power in a single day of shooting.
I just tested a LaCie little big disk 6TB Raid 0 Thunderbolt and got 302 MB/s Write and 307 MB/s Read. Not as good as my internal SSD at 427/435, but much faster than any of my USB 3.0...
I haven't heard anything. I would ask them which # it is and check with Red.
We do have a very aggressive approach to achieving these particular effects. Im really just frustrated that everything that looked so good on paper has gotten so complicated. I'm tired of pulling...
Haha. If you could seriously fix all of our issues in 10 minutes I would gladly pay you the 10k. We are working with a former ILM manager and the cost for fixing RS at this level is far more than we...
If by taking 5 minutes to learn a better workflow you mean taking 5 minutes to buy a global shutter camera or purchasing film from Kodak then you would be correct. We have been testing Scarlet,...
Who would have thought that Reduser was the website I had to go to in order to get excited about new BMC Cameras?!
Pretty stoked about that global shutter. The Scarlet is a pain for cgi/vfx...
Whats funny is that I actually know/have worked with a guy that is running much higher frame rates on his Scarlet than I am on mine. We were shooting 5k24 6:1 on a music video not too long ago. He...
That is actually pretty damn cool. I didn't know it could do that.
It was part of their spec sheets earlier in the 2/3" Scarlet days. 3K with bursts up to 120fps. But that was back when it was going to cost 3-5k. So much has changed.
F*ck off for making grass look so damn cool....
Good job Luke. Best looking HDRX I've seen!
For statistical purposes, add me to the list of people that have only had to do an occasional reboot over the last 12 months. No major issues. It is a fantastic camera.
I'm around. Let me know if you want to grab a drink at one of the parties around town.
Domestically Southwest and Frontier are great to fly with when it comes to media. I often fly with large equipment, and half the time never get charged with either airline. They are always super...
Haha! I thought it was great! Was that all one location (aside from the street?) What did you edit in to get this done so quickly?
My team here in Austin was assigned dark comedy too. We...
Andy is right. Start there. It took me a few months to really develop an understanding and connection with this cameras personality. Now I know exactly what she likes and what she doesn't. Also,...
This thread is a joke.
Hey, here is a joke I heard earlier:
How much does a hipster weigh?
....An Instagram!!! Get it!?!
That is AWESOME!!!!!!
What ISO were you at when you shot this. Your whites are clipping a bit in the sunlight and outside of the car. Why didn't you use HDRX? :001_tongue:
I would run some tests with the same settings on non beta firmware to see if the problem goes away. It seems several people are seeing odd compression artifacts on the new beta.
I'm not sure that what we are seeing is a blackshading issue. It is recommended that you backshade anytime you are shooting higher fps, but again, this looks like something else to me.
Nevermind. I see what you are talking about. I had to zoom in closer to see the lines. What firmware are you on?
What was your ISO? Compression ratio? Is this picture 1:1? Are you shooting 4K? 3K? 2K? 1K? Can you post an R3D still so that we can help you?
Are you talking about the green dots? I see a...
And here I was thinking I would be productive tomorrow. Hah! stupid me. House of cards marathon it is!
:emote_couch:
You may sir!
