I'm sure it refers to the internal part that powers the sensor itself... not the AC Adaptor.

Could you elaborate?
Guido
Most probably... they had to show something physical.

Actually, no one is paying. Just staying in line. When the time arrives, one can do the upgrade -and pay- or not.
As far as I recall -let me know if Iīm wrong- Iīve never seen footage from a Sony...
Almost 2 hours gone... and Iīm still "not eligible"...
Guido
There are other reasons to request the Release version... for example, I cannot rent out the camera with the +1 Module adaptor Iīm about to receive, as it only works with Beta versions right now......
True... but I would have much preferred a "soft" HDMI connector that enabled the possibility to simply disconnect it to give another use to the HDMI port, without having to disassemble the whole...
I have to admit that by August 31, 2007, I didnīt know about the existence of RED down here in Argentina... It was not until the end of that year or the beginning of 2008, while I was talking with an...
Already sold, Clodo...
Guido
Good news... but hoping it gets a really low price, given that it comes to solve a, letīs say... technical "defect"...
Guido
+1 Module permanently attached, for sure. Meizler looks too much... expensive, heavy, big, complex... Pro I/O shuld be the half-way alternative.

No thread for new Beta 4.0.9?
Strange...
Guido
Peter, did you "steal" the strap on the Side Handle from a video lens?
Great idea! Didnīt notice the possibility to do that.
Guido
Hummm... I think thatīs your desire... based on what Jarred said, unfortunately it looks like the +1 will have to be uninstalled to use the HDMI port...
Guido
Unfortunately... this seems to be the case.
Both adapters (dumb and +1) in the camera case. One installed, the other in a pouch. And the need to switch between them occasionally.
Sigh...
Beta 32 was released on August 14... half a year ago. Even if priority is, naturally, on the Epic/Scarlet... just a little tweaks on this already tested and proven Beta would easily give us a Release...
Good question... itīs been quite a long time since Beta was launched...
Guido
Thatīs exactly what most of us need and what the market is claiming for... Soon, please...
Guido
This is stated as a "bug-fix update"; Iīm pretty sure the REDmote firmware remains the same.

I use those "old" longer $240 cables on my Epics; I had them as spares for the Red Ones. Never used the short braided ones... too short, too stiff I think; they put too much stress on the camera/LCD...
That may be expected, Paul... I never feed the Bartech/M-One directly from the camera (did so from movie cameras... long ago!) as itīs a sudden 3-4 amps power consumption; the Red Ones tended to shut...
Did he slow down? Didnīt notice... had to listen to it twice at full volume...
Guido
Hace 13 meses que nadie escribe nada acá! Bueno... Epics #1600 y #1637 están disponibles en Argentina desde enero pasado! Se suman a las Red One MX SSD 3394 y MX 3392, con una buena cantidad de...
The video is a great idea... although non-native English speakers (like me) would appreciate Sean speaking a bit slower... please, next time... jaja...
Guido
Chrosziel and even RedrockMicro trays are compatible... in case it helps!
