I was very surprised at how well the footage started turning out considering the lighting. It really was "PD150" lighting - the most we ever used was one 1K and a lite panel. Most shots were one 1K open face or a 650 fresnel. Add a few small flags for neg fill or shaping light in the background and that's that.
Monitoring on set was handled with Evin's HD-SDI Panasonic monitor for DP/AC and Evin's Sony [right?] consumer monitor over HDMI for the director.
Footage was ingested with a FW800 reader on a MacBook Pro and saved on two independent FW800 drives. Total time for a full 8GB card to two drives was about 6 minutes [all on one FW800 bus].
