I have done a fair bit of transmitting using an AJA 10DM3 Downconverter and Titan Tx/Rx. Works great.

I would love to see a field wireless HDMI solution. I wonder how well the geffen wireless hdmi unit works.

Wireless HD senders are hard to find and killer expensive. I reckon that HDMI thing ought to work though.

I guess that would work for the Preview, right?

What worries me about it is potential delay with all that compression happening for wireless HD, causing possible remote focus pulling problems. Any experience ?

For now the only reasonable solution remains the downconverter to SD transmitter. This works just fine and neither Modulus nor Canatrans appears to bother the RED.

Think on the bandwidth of the HD-SDi signal which should transmitted. There is much more technical work to do as on SD. So as Anders his combination described, we use the same and its really ok....

    Mitch,

Do you rent these? I have a feature in the works that I may DP and will need to transmit. If so...what would be the weekly rental.

    Feel free to PM me.

    Regards,
    Danny

Thanks to all for the info. Keep the solutions coming!!!

No offence but your focus puller shouldnt be pulling off a monitor - unless it's amateur night.
