    I think it's just shoddy journalism by studio daily personally. No where on Cooke's site does it say these are called "Scarlet Lenses" it's called the "RED Set"

    Yeah, I think we all need to remember that Scarlet is another word for red. I think thats just the Studio Daily people trying to draw in readers to this topic.

    No, they're just regular s4i lenses with red lettering. Much more expensive than the forthcoming Red primes. Nothing new in terms of optics or mechanics (I don't think).

    probably scarlet is a cooke lens with an integrated camera :)
