I'm sorry cinematography.com boards guys (I know you read these lines and you've been missing my posts -- actually, I still just don't remember my password :)) but I like this guy, beyond the Forbes ranking and his airplane or airplanes.

EDIT -- Business aside, REDuser.net is a friendly community for distinctive RED friends -- that's all!

Don't worry, once you start shipping cameras I am sure RED owners will develop into an unstoppable sales force.

Ah, c’mon, there ya go reducing prices when us RED One adopters are already having a hard time convincing the rest of the production world that a camera so modestly priced can possibly really deliver what it's specs claim....

Dang it, in an industry where everyone loves bragging to their friends and business associates about what they paid for stuff, moves like price reductions are seriously raining on our credibility parade!

Oh well, the price to performance ratio just changed. Boy, am I going to catch flak for having a camera that is supposed to do all that, but now costs less. Everyone knows that in this industry "You don't get what you pay for!" How am I going to explain that I'm getting a lot more than I'm paying for?!

This has really put me in a bind...:cold:

I believe all this point on subject is not more than the versatility of the RED user. In my country, we say they are more than the mothers. LOL As matter of fact, there are different worlds outside and inside. Even I, all my work is not based on just one environment. For instance, for education or production purposes the things can change. Regarding the production field, there are several distinctive levels of moviemaking, art and business. That's why the issue hasn't the same value for everybody.
