  1. #1 Spare cables
I find myself thinking about the good things like drives and lenses and forgetting the all important spare cables.

Is there an option to get a spare power cable for the cradle/quick plate?

Can someone confirm the LCD cable is the same as an EVF cable?

YES, LCD / EVF Cables are interchangeable.

One should never go with out spare cables. Seeing as the power cable is hard mounted to the battery plate, just having a spare cable won't be of much use in an emergency, but a spare plate complete would.

Yes, I think the spare camera plate is definitely a must in that case.

How does the plate mount though, its not obvious to me... unless it directly replaces the one on the cradle already.

As long as it can be bolted onto a universal mount then it can be put anywhere I guess. Doesn't look like it would fit a universal mount though.

My other simple question was is the red handle mount a better option than putting the handles directly onto the 19mm bars. People have said they are having difficulties with tightening the wingnuts on handles on 19mm bars, is it the same with the handlebar mount.

    Cheers

The $175 plate makes the best sense for quick replacement. It would be nice if there was a quick and easy replacement cable as you know the first one is going to fail at some point.

Anyone any idea on the red handle mount?
