I was notified that this short film will be screened at the San Diego Undersea Film Exhibition (www.sdufex.com) being held at Qualcomm Theater on Oct. 10th & 11th. It's getting a lot of exposure already with my underwater community! I also posted on this thread: http://reduser.net/forum/showthread....ooting-Gallery

About 60% of this film is shot on Dragon with the rest on Epic MX. Dragon footage includes mantas, dolphins, hammerheads, humpback whales, turtles, lion fish, carribean reef sharks and whale sharks. Unfortunately the Komodo dragons are simply MX...

  2. #12 New film noir short shot on Red Dragon.
Hey guys.. this was my first time shooting with the Dragon and we decided to have some fun by going black and white with it. You can check out the 1080 version of the short.

We submitted to RED's 4K channel so it might be popping up there in 4K as well. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts on it.

    Hi everyone,

Thought I'd share the teaser trailer to a project I recently was involved in that's premiering on Dec 18, 2014 in Indonesia (with an International release to follow).

Shot on Dragon with miniS4/i. Enjoy.

    "Unbroken" Promo - 4K

    "Unbroken" Promo - Vimeo

This was an impromptu promo video shot for singer Aeralie Brighton's 1st single entitled, "Unbroken". It was the middle of the night and I was kicking around promo video ideas and she put me on the spot and said, "Let's just go now."

So, I quickly planned out a shoot that took us up by that restaurant on the mountain overlooking Burbank, to a bridge over the 5 freeway, back to North Hollywood for 2 shots, then we headed down Hollywood Blvd for the final shots I had in mind for getting the song title on the screen with her and etc.

Obviously I wanted to show how I could play with color at night and use it to setup her story and song. Everything was designed to be lit with the existing lighting (street lights - all shots filmed at f1.8 with manual follow focus), then I took the footage into Davinci Resolve for some awesome color grading. Check it out, it's actually a great song about her struggle for the strength to press forward after a relationship that left her doubting herself and her career.
