Production value in these frames are fantastic! Great job on lighting and framing these shots. Love the composition and the contrast in them.[

    Very nice.
Good production values may not be noticed. Bad production values will be.

While everyone is wondering what Komodo is or isn't I would like to share my new feature documentary with y'all over here at reduser. All the interviews and most of the B-role footage is shot on Scarlet MX with Nikon Primes lens. I also used DJI Phantom 4 drone, DSLR, Gopro and even some iPhone footage in this film.

    Pull Up LA -
A documentary about meet up culture in Los Angeles.

    https://www.amazon.com/Pull-Up-Hecto...t-video&sr=1-1

The movie is streaming on Amazon Prime - Search Amazon Prime "Pull Up LA"
    Here is the trailer-

    <iframe src="https://player.vimeo.com/video/314117619" width="640" height="564" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; fullscreen" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I don't know if anyone still goes on this thread but let me tell you that I got to show this movie at a couple laemmle theaters on the big screen and it looked amazing! Shoot with what you got and worry about your story first before what camera you should use.

oh and Shoot that mofu%&*@#$ Scarlet! if you still got one lol

Shutting up and shooting my Scarlet in 2020 ;) Reposted from another thread here:

"Scarlet-X #04147 Here! Bought 2 years ago from a buddy of mine who left the industry. Got it for a solid deal at the time as a package. My friends have DSMC2 and Alexa rigs and sometimes it discouraging to "keep up", but frame rates aside this things does pretty much all I need it to and the fan isn't an issue like it is on my buddies old Helium. I've shot 3 features + 2nd unit on another in that time, plus a handful of other projects. Trying to encourage people it's still a camera worth using. Difficult to rent in my market, but I'm trying to make it work for me! I do love the skin tones I can get out of it and IPP2 doing it's magic as well.

Been shooting this science series for kids over the past few years on a Scarlet MX 95% of the time. Several of these episodes are up on prime now.
