I realize one is a still and one a motion camera, but I'm just curious why no one has been able to produce a single still image that compares to an "out-of-the-box" Rebel XTi image using even the best Zeiss lens and lighting conditions. Seems like file size in pixels is being confused with resolution, depth and tonal quality.
If someone has a still to prove me wrong, please post it here...I really want to believe the RED can give me better stills with same glass than my XTi.
