I already know this is way to early to speculate, so please no negativity. This is a thread for those who do wish to give in to the urge to rationalize, speculate, etc.
I currently own an HVX200. I was going to upgrade to the HPX170 this fall, but then Scarlet was announced. Now my plan is to finish up some projects I have going until september, then sell my HVX, and take a nice break until Scarlet is released.
Based on how hard it is to get a Red One, I'm wondering what my chances are of getting a Scarlet when they ship.
I know that RED is aware this is a product that will be mass-produced.
So, I guess my question is pointed towards those who have been or are familiar with the Redservation-process, and what it is like. If I put down a deposit in Jan 09, and they ship in June... well... how difficult do you guys think it will be to even get a reservation?
*This is all assuming they do the same process as with the red one.
