Name Changes

As Jarred said, he's encouraging folks to go with their real name if they want to... It is voluntary of course, and not mandatory.

Just shoot me a PM if you want, and I'll get your fixed up.

I'm mostly posting this though to suggest that folks who have had their names changed or will be wanting to change to their real name in the future to put your former username in your signature to help folks know who you are amidst the rash of name changes :)

I understand that it can be totally cool, in this "CYBER WORLD" to have fantastical "USER" names, and that it also can serve to protect ones identities, but I do firmly believe that when a community so unique such as it is the case for "REDUSER" then we should indeed all use real names.

Meeting so many more REDUSERS at NAB was fantastic, but many when introduced them selfs to me (while I was dispensing Tirami Su') had to say constantly OHH ... you know me in the forum as %@!%...


Again it is my strong opinion that we should try and make this HUGE family even HUGER and closer together using real names and therefor showing our true identities when talking one on other.

I'm Justin Phillips. Chances are, you've never heard of me nor any of my relatives. I do have at least one (tenuous) link to the film industry, though. My grandfather was one of the founders of WRS. That's about it, though. Maybe some day you'll hear about me again. Who knows?
